Born in 1974 and raised in Brooklyn, NY, Jesse Scatturro graduated from the School of Visual Arts with a Bachelor of Fine Arts. He got his start as an art director with Grey Advertising.
After five years, he moved on to create and direct a sketch comedy pilot that was picked for development by MTV Networks. Jesse was pulled back into the advertising world by AKA Advertising. There, as an associate creative director, he worked with many clients, including Foot Locker, Nike, Adidas and Reebok.
With a Super Bowl spot for Adidas under his belt, Jesse made the decision to go independent. He founded Ditch Films with his partner stand up comedian Yannis Pappas. Ditch Films is a production company specializing in branded content with a comedic slant.
Jesse's journey into photography began as a fine art photographer. In a juried show, Robert Rosenblum, curator at the Guggenheim Museum, selected Jesse as a prizewinner. As a result, Jesse was awarded a major show at the Viridian Gallery in NYC. Jesse's work also has been shown at a number of other galleries throughout New York.
Jesse started Shooting commercially, mixing his fine art aesthetic with his extensive commercial background. He aims to elevate his work, creating memorable images. He currently resides in Brooklyn, NY.
